All of these are happening because you’re not really living NOW… in your mind you are mostly somewhere else, sometime else… and that can’t work because life can only be lived in the present.
This retreat-workshop centres on mindfulness in its many aspects.
Mindfulness has become a bit of a buzz-word – don’t let that put you off. And it might be something you haven’t learnt and aren’t sure about – don’t let that put you off either.
We will learn and practise mindfulness and then we will go further, because to make it work for you, you also have to fit it into a philosophy of life and way of living which means you start to…
see the larger picture – the wood and beyond, not just trees… know that you decided the best you could at the time – and the world’s not perfect… realise that stuff has happened and that there are ways to let it be – and then just be… find the you that’s got hidden, stifled, lost – and feel the release.
As with all our retreats, the sense of being a part of a community, but also being able to be apart, will be respected. There will be time for reflection and time for enquiry, a time for working at new skills and a time for simply sitting and chatting and joining the company for good local food and wine.
